Barrio Queen is more than 30 Scottsdale-area restaurants participating in Fall Arizona Restaurant Week this year.

With the arrival of September comes one of the more popular culinary events of the year, Arizona Restaurant Week: Dine In or Take Out (ARW) taking place Sept. 18 through 27.

A favorite among foodies, ARW gives Arizonans 10 days to explore some of the state’s best restaurants, all of which offer three-course prix-fixe menus for a steal: just $33 or $44 per person.

Some restaurants also offer wine pairings and upgraded menu items at an additional cost.

Many Scottsdale restaurants are on the lineup, from Blanco Tacos + Tequila and Kona Grill to Olive & Ivy and Zinc Bistro.

Of the just-over 100 participating restaurants statewide, more than 30 are in Scottsdale, including Blanco Tacos + Tequila, PHX Beer Co., and ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho, among many others.

House Brasserie is a newbie to ARW; the refined New American restaurant located on Main Street downtown joined in the spring, as a way to introduce their establishment to a new audition, House Brasserie owner and manager Joe Ieraci said. 

“[And] to be knitted into the community,” he added.

“We feel not only gratitude but also great pride in the fact that the local dining community has showed up again and again in support of our industry since closures and limited re-opening mandates,” Arizona Restaurant Association President and CEO Steve Chucri said. 

“We are thrilled to see that dining out — whether that means in-restaurant or getting take-out — is still such an important part of people’s lives.”

Much like Spring ARW, Fall ARW will operate with a modified format that includes dine-in, take-out and liquor to-go options.
